When you create an account or join the waitlist, Basin & Ridge collects: name, email address, job title, city, certifications, machine qualifications, and career progression data you enter into the terminal.
City is used for regional pay benchmarking against Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) wage data only. We do not track your precise location. We do not build location profiles.
Your data powers the terminal — your skill record, pay benchmarks, and career path mapping. Email is collected to send waitlist updates and launch notifications. That is the full scope.
We do not sell your data. We do not share individual records with employers, schools, or any third party without your explicit written consent.
This site uses Plausible Analytics — a privacy-first tool. Plausible sets no cookies, collects no personal data, and transmits no individually identifiable information. We see aggregate visit counts only. Nothing about you individually.
Email addresses are processed via Resend for waitlist and launch communication only. You will not receive marketing from third parties. Unsubscribe at any time using the link at the bottom of any email we send.
If you enroll through a training program or school, that institution may have visibility into your progress during the active enrollment window. That access is hard-cut automatically at the end of your enrollment window date. No action required on your part — it ends when the window ends.
Basin & Ridge may be deployed by high schools and community colleges as part of Career and Technical Education (CTE) programs. All CTE program users are ages 13 and up.
When a school authorizes student access, student records are treated as education records under the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA). The school retains ownership and control of its students' data. Basin & Ridge processes that data only for the career development purpose the school contracted for — not for advertising, commercial profiling, or any other purpose.
Every school deployment is governed by a written Data Processing Agreement covering data use limits, security requirements, retention, and deletion timelines. Schools and parents may request access to, correction of, or deletion of a student's record at any time by emailing growth@basinandridge.co.
We maintain reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect your data. In the event of a security breach that may affect your personal information, we will notify you within 45 days of determining that a breach occurred, consistent with Arizona A.R.S. § 18-552. Notification will be sent to the email address on file for your account. If a breach affects more than 1,000 individuals, we will also notify the Arizona Attorney General and the Arizona Department of Homeland Security as required by law.
You can request correction or full deletion of your account and all associated records. Email growth@basinandridge.co with your request. We will process it within 30 days.
