If you are between 13 and 17 and accessing Basin & Ridge through a school-authorized Career and Technical Education (CTE) program, your school has agreed to the applicable data terms on your behalf under FERPA. No users under 13 are permitted.
Basin & Ridge is in active pilot development. The service is provided as-is, without warranties of any kind, express or implied. Features may change, break, or be removed as we build. We will communicate significant changes to registered users.
You agree to provide accurate information about your skills, certifications, and employment history. The terminal is built on honest data — if the data is wrong, the benchmarks are wrong, and you are the one it hurts.
You agree not to misuse the service: no scraping, no automated access without permission, no attempting to access other users' data, no using the platform for purposes that are unlawful or harmful to other users.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access for violations of these terms, abuse of the platform, or at our discretion during the pilot phase. We do not terminate access arbitrarily.
Basin & Ridge does not compile, evaluate, or furnish consumer reports as defined under the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA). No employer, institution, or third party can pull your record through Basin & Ridge. Workers control what they share and with whom. If that model ever changes, we will update these terms and notify users before the change takes effect.
The skill records, certifications, machine qualifications, and career data you enter belong to you. Basin & Ridge does not claim ownership over it.
Employer and institutional access to your data is consent-based only. You control who sees your record. No employer or school gets visibility into your data without your explicit opt-in. See our Privacy Policy for how institutional access windows work.
Basin & Ridge is not liable for decisions you make based on pay benchmarks or career path data shown in the terminal. BLS data reflects regional averages — individual outcomes depend on employer, location, and factors outside this tool. Use it as a reference, not a guarantee.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona. Any disputes arising from them will be resolved in Maricopa County, Arizona.
